Amanzi Island Lodge

On the shores of the Knysna Lagoon, you’ll find Amanzi Island Lodge, a tranquil beach house on Leisure Isle, with spectacular views of the Knysna Heads and Featherbed Nature Reserve.

The lodge offers spacious bedrooms that can accommodate between 2 to 3 people, and open out onto a balcony either overlooking the lagoon or the private garden. The sunny and spacious rooms are air-conditioned, and equipped with Satellite TVs. The rooms are furnished with king-size or single beds, and the en-suite bathrooms are fitted with showers and baths, and complimentary Charlotte Rhys luxury bath products are provided. Electric blankets are available on request.

The on-site Terrace Restaurant showcases a menu that reflects a celebration of Knysna’s rich culinary heritage, embracing the diversity of cultures that have influenced South African modern cuisine and the abundant fresh produce found along the shores and in the waters. The bar menu offers an assortment of inspired fusions and contemporary classics prepared by talented bartenders.

For a relaxing day at the lodge, you can enjoy a dip in the private swimming pool in the garden, where you’ll be visited by the local birds, make use of the wide selection of board games and books, enjoy a drink at the honesty bar, or make use of the available Wi-Fi. Canoes and bicycles are available for guests to use.

Heron Suite
