Listing Description
Beacon House is situated on the eastern head where the Indian Ocean enters the Knysna lagoon through the sandstone headlands known as The Heads.
At Beacon House accommodation is provided in 4 well-appointed apartments. All apartments feature 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and separate sculleries with dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers. Each apartment is also equipped with air-conditioning, underfloor heating, gas fireplace, HD TV with the full bouquet of DStv channels and PVR recorder DVD-player, hairdryers and an electronic safe. For each apartment, there is a spacious sun deck with patio furniture, sun loungers and a Weber braai. There is only free internet access in the foyer.
Located a few meters from the waters edge Beacon House offers spectacular views of the Knysna lagoon and the Knysna heads. The East Head Cafe is located a few footsteps away from Beacon House.
Apartment 1
This apartment is on the first floor and on the northern town side of the building. The main bedroom has an extra length king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. The second bedroom has an extra length double bed and is also west facing and has views of the western Head. This bedroom has access to a spacious deck. The third bedroom has an extra length double bed and is east facing and has no view. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath.
Apartment 2
This apartment is situated is on the first floor on the southern ocean side of the building. The main bedroom has an extra length king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. The second bedroom has an extra length double bed and is also west facing and has views of the western Head. The third bedroom has an extra length double bed and is east facing and has no view. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath.
Apartment 3

The second bedroom has two extra length single beds and is also west facing and has views of the western Head. This bedroom has access to a spacious deck. The third bedroom has an extra length double bed and is east facing and has no view. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath.

This apartment is situated on the second floor and on the southern ocean side of the building. The main bedroom has an extra length king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. The second bedroom has 2 extra length single beds and is also west facing and has views of the western Head. This bedroom has access to a spacious deck. The third bedrooms has an extra length double bed and is east facing and has no view. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower and bath.
In the event of bookings made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date the full amount is due and payable within 48 hours of making a reservation.
A non-refundable 50% deposit (or the rate for 1 night, for bookings less than 4 nights in duration) is required within 48 hours to confirm any reservation.
Bookings during peak periods : 1. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required within 48 hours to confirm any reservation. 2. A further 25% deposit is required within 60 days of the arrival date.
Regrettably no pets of any description are permitted. That the maximum number of guests occupying an apartment does not exceed the number of guests as booked. Under no circumstances will more than 6 people be permitted to occupy an apartment, this includes children and infants. Regrettably no smoking is permitted in the apartments. That all noise levels will be reduced to a minimum after 22:00. A maximum of 2 vehicles per apartment are permitted within the premises. The apartments are serviced daily with the exception of Sunday and public holidays.
