The Knysna Belle, is just 15 paces off the beach is one of the island’s special jewels.

The Knysna Belle comprises 7 rooms one luxury The Captains Quarters with views over the lagoon and Featherbed Reserve, two front lagoon facing rooms two garden and pool facing rooms and a family unit with shared bathroom.

The idyllic picture postcard scene is an everyday reality of life on Leisure Isle. Linked to the mainland by a narrow causeway, Leisure Isle is a haven of peace and tranquility. Here, life is enjoyed at a relaxed pace, cars drive slowly along twisting roads, kids ride bicycles freely, residents enjoy daily sunset walks/rides around the scenic 4 km periphery and holiday makers relax on sun-drenched beaches or swim in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon.

Leisure Isle also boasts an art gallery, a fine dining restaurant, a small boat harbor and its own nature reserve, good bird-watching and awesome scenery. Less than 10 minutes drive from the center of Knysna, Leisure Isle is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of all that the town and its environs have to offer while maintaining seclusion and safety.

Paquita

Paquita has a Queen-size bed and en-suite shower this room overlooks the tranquil garden and pool. Optional facility- can be inter-leading with the Annie Benn Room.

Annie Benn

Annie Benn is a large Room with a queen size bed, Victorian bath with shower in the bath , a separate toilet, overlooking the bird filled garden and pool.

Family Unit

Fredheim a queen bedded room and Hettie a twin bedded room are part of this family unit with a full shared bathroom. This unit is self contained and has views of the rear garden and pool area of the B&B.

Nautilus

Nautilus can be either a Twin or King bed, we have a lounge area leading out to private patio overlooking the garden and Knysna lagoon, private bar/ fridge, luxury bathroom with shower and bath.

Emu Front Lagoon Room

Our lagoon-facing room with spectacular views, has a queen-size bed with a full en-suite bathroom and double doors opening onto the private patio where one can enjoy the view of Bollard bay beach and views through the famous Knysna Heads while sipping sundowners.

Luxury Suite

THE CAPTAIN’S QUARTERS (the ‘Upper-deck’) Comprises King Or twin size bed, sitting room with fireplace and full extra-large en-suite bathroom, Captains-desk, private bar/fridge The lagoon facing suite and Quarterdeck balcony with comfortable seating for sundowners has panoramic views of the Heads, Bollard Bay, Featherbed Bay and the majestic Outeniqua mountains. Additional rooftop Crows-nest look-out balcony.
